JOB HUNTING

Howcome people find part time jobs so easily,
and it seems to be so hard for me?

I see so many people like school mates or just random people that I have SEEN at school, but I don't know them, and they are like year 10 or year 11 students.

They all have jobs, and I can't seem to find one...
Is it because I am older and if they hire younger people, they give them less pay? Or is it that I am "vertically challenged" and look really little and if people hire me for their shop, I am not very convincing because of my size? What is it?? Argh

I really prefer NOT to work at fast food restaurants or supermarkets, but the way things are going, I might have to give up what I prefer and give those places a try...

What should I do?!?

Anyway~
I hope I find a job I like ASAP!

P.S.
If you see any jobs advertised on a shop window or website or newspaper or ANYTHING and YOU think it's suitable for MEEEE, please somehow contact me and tell me! Thanks heaps!

Well, it's not easy. You have to like, cast a big net. (Me metaphorically saying that you need to post a lot of CVs (even if they're not hiring) and do a lot of job apps.)

For Crescent, I didn't do much. Mum saw an ad in a random Chinese newspaper once and the old guy interviewed me and said my available working hours were insufficient. But he emailed me in Nov this year and I'm working just for the summer hols. Not bad.

And I work at Northlands. Mum says I'm in deep shite if I'm busting to pee...gosh, it's gonna be like the exams again! I'm going to be so dehydrated!! Oh well, I'm raking in dosh at least.

Good luck with you're job thing!
